A hobby is a pleasure and a challenge. "Doing things" is not good enough; most hobbyists strive to do things well. This is particularly important for hobbies such as fish keeping, where the life and well being of animals is involved.

To achieve this, reading is essential. Sharing experiences with other hobbyists and becoming familiar with new information enable us to take proper care of our aquatic friends.
