Acheta domestica (European house cricket)
One day I saw this cricket in the garden, and of course I could not just say hi and let it continue it's journey. Immediately I started thinking about the macro pictures of this insect that I could tak. So I halted it and "imprisoned" the cricket in my empty plastic ice cream box. This box is closed with a thin glass plate that also allows to take nice pictures of this insect. After the "photoshoot" we released the cricket nicely back into the garden on the exact location where we found it.
