Moscow: Red Square

The Red Square is the most famous site in all of Moscow.  It is surrounded by beautiful buildings such as the cathedral of St. Basil, the Kremlin as well as GUM, the biggest mall of Russia. From a technical point of view finding the right white balance and the right exposure was quite tricky due to the fact that the lighting varied on each of the buildings around the square. Other than that, the use of a tripod was very helpful in order to keep the ISO to 100, thus securing a good noise-free picture quality.
