"I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost -- that is important." Jacques-Henri Lartigue

Lake Windermere (Lake District, UK) Lake Windermere is the biggest lake in the Lake district (Northwest England). It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations. A regular boat service takes visitors across the lake to the steam railway station. After a short trip visitors can enjoy lovely walks in the forest of the national reserve area. We arrived at Windermere quite late during an overcast and windy day so the light was low. The light conditions limited our range of possible subjects. The visit was quite enjoyable but the photos are not indicative of the area. Definately a place we have to visit again. Photos
