People. We live amongst them but we rarely notice them. Persons become people. It is different when, camera in hand, one is out shooting. The photographer is looking for the unusual, interesting, beautiful, captivating, moving, expressive, indicative, everyday or different. A moment, a gesture, an expression is all that matters. 

We approach the issue of taking photos of people, known or unknown to us, with respect. The photos in this category are all about expressions or aspects of the human life and as such are not - and are not meant to be - in any way demeaning, slighting, insulting or degrading any person portrayed in them. Where possible consent has been acquired prior to photographing unknown people either explicitly or implicitly (e.g. by the person(s) posing for the photographers). 

The photos are presented thematically in photo albums. The titles of the albums reflect the thoughts or feelings of the photographers about the photos shown or are given for the purpose of classification / presentation. Titles do not necessarily describe the activities or reflect the feelings of the persons portrayed in the photos at the time the photos were taken.  To avoid possible misinterpretations we keep the photographers' commentary on the photos in each album to an absolute minimum.   So we all have to look inside us to find the reason for pressing the shutter release at this precise moment ....
