Cephalopholis miniata (family: Serranidae; common name: Coral Grouper) Photos taken at Saint John point, Red Sea, in March 2008. This species is commonly found in the open water. Although a grouper it can coexist peacefully with other fish, as shown in the pictures. This is a highly sought after species for the aquarium hobby mainly because of its striking coloration as well as the fact that it does not attain a large final size.
