On the Go (Testudo graeca ibera, common name: Spur-thighed Tortoise) This tortoise was frightened when it realized that it had been spotted – not to mention the photo gear aimed at it. We had to lie down on the ground in order to bring the Tamron at the same level with its head. At first, the head was almost hidden by the front legs but soon the tortoise felt brave and decided to get its head out. After examining its surrounding it decided that the lens was not a real threat and decided to get its neck out, too. Moments later it turned round and was on the move.
