Lutra lutra (Otter)

We were passing by the otter enclosure at the Attica Zoological park when I noticed  one of the animals just about to come out of its a burrow. I stopped to take a couple of shots and then put the camera down and looked at it. The youngster checked us out first and  eventually came out of its  hiding place and approached us. In a little while it was sniffing our fingers through the fence  trying to play. In the meantime a couple of adults were enjoying a swim in their little lake. When they came out their fur was decorated by hundreds of water drops  sliding against their waterproof coating and shining like little diamonds under the sun.
