Charaxes jasius (Family: Nymphalidae;common name: Two tailed Pasha)

The two-tailed Pasha is a butterfly usually found in the Mediterranean region between March and October. The female has a wingspan of more than eight centimeters and because of this it is one of the largest butterflies in the Nymphalidae family. The host plant of the caterpillars is the strawberry tree Arbutus unedo.
