Falco Tinnunculus (Common Kestrel) III We found this kestrel hunting in heavy rain. We observed it for a while; when the rain stopped the bird started drying its feathers. This was quite interesting. The kestrel started raising the feathers on its back and breast and kept them half raised so these could dry quicker. The photos were taken in Strophylia reserve, West Peloponese, Greece.
