Eresus sandaliatus (Family: Eresidae; Ladybird spider)

We found this spider in a tennis court in a suburb of Patras (NW Peloponese, Greece). It is the male of the species. References indicate that the ladybird spider has black hind legs; this spider had white, brown shaded, hind legs, similar to E. kollari.
