"When the world is your canvas, so to speak, you need your tools with you to capture everything around you. Make a habit of always carrying a camera with you - you will never suffer the regret of wishing you had.” Elliott Erwitt

Ciconia Ciconia (White Stork) We saw this beautiful stork at Attica Zoological Park. The Park operates a 'free landing' policy; as a result a number of wild storks also use its facilities when required which is great contribution to concervation work as tired or wounded birds can land, rest or recover and fly off when they are ready to do so. Most importantly, the birds may chose to breed in the area, which is very safe and gives the young high chances of survival. We do not know if the bird in the photo is a regular resident or a visitor at the Park. We followed it around from a distance for a while and took some shots of it lit by the last sunrays of the day.
