Giraffa camelopardalis (family: Giraffidae; common name : Giraffe)

In contrast to the previous album which showed the giraffe in static shots this one contains photos which show this impressive animal in action. Of particular interest is the interaction between a giraffe born in captivity and its mother. In the first photo you can see what humans interpret as a kiss while in the second photo the youngster cleans its mother. Finally, a photo of a giraffe spitting the hay which did not fit in its mouth.
