Chatsworth House: Surroundings

"You learn to see by practice. It's just like playing tennis, you get better the more you play. The more you look around at things, the more you see. The more you photograph, the more you realize what can be photographed and what can't be photographed. You just have to keep doing it." Eliot Porter

Chatsworth House: Surroundings Typical British landascape, with lots of lovely spaces, rivers, bridges and trees. A paradise for landscape photographers. We thought that midday light would not do justice to the scenery so we decided to visit the house first and come out just when the golden hour was ready to offer great photo opportunities. There is a lot of wildlife inhabiting the area too - we regretted not taking our long lenses with us. Regrettably it was not quite possible to shoot the house itself from the outside due to some restoration work. Photos by Marina Parha and George J. Reclos Shooting data: 1. Camera: Nikon D700 2. Camera: Nikon D3x 3. Camera: Nikon D2X 4. Camera: Nikon D2X 5. Camera: Nikon D2X 6. Camera: Nikon D2X |
