Driving from Patras to Karpenisi Starting from Patras (North-West Peloponnese), I had to decide which route to follow to my destination (Karpenisi; Central Greece). I chose the longest (and propably most difficult) course, from Agrinio to the lake of Kastraki, Lake of Kremasta and finally Karpenisi. While driving around the lake of Kastraki (first photo) I saw from the road the little boat seen at the second photo. Moving forward at the lake of Kremasta we passed over the bridge of Tatarna (third photo), which when built held the fisrt, second and fourth record of longest arched bridges worldwide. At the village of Coryshades near Karpenisi, a deserted house partially covered by ivy caught my attention (fourth photo). Next morning I saw from my hotel the crest of the distant mountain and the mist below it. What a beautiful view to watch while having your breakfast! (fifth photo). Finally at the ski resort Velouchi, I could not help shooting the steam trail of the airplane which seemed to fly straight to heaven (last photo). All in all an absolutely great weekend!
