Stone Bridges Near Karpenisi (Eurytania, Central Greece) There is a considerable number of stone bridges over the rivers around Karpenisi; every village appears to have its own bridge (at least one). However, finding all these bridges is not an easy job. Some are be well hidden up in the mountains while others are forgotten by the locals. The stone bridge in the first photo is quite small, located at Agrinio, 2km out of Karpenisi; this is an easy one to find. The stone bridge in the next couple of photos is the Xerolykos bridge. It is a beautifully preserved, typical stone bridge of northen Greece. It is located near the junction leading to the village Coryshades but, unfortunately, it cannot be spotted from the main road. Finally the stone bridge in the last photo is a newly made bridge near the village of Tsoukka. The absence of light in Kefalovryso made me choose an f/5.6 to shoot the first bridge; I used f/8 to shoot the other two bridges since the light levels were considerably higher.
