Spring Shoots

March in Sale Park. We were rather disappointed with the weather; the low lighting meant that "action" photography was out of the question. We decided to give the Macro lens a chance. To our surprise we noticed all sorts of shoots and buds, timidly emerging from bare branches to welcome the coming spring. Their vivid colours lightened up the otherwise grey, drizzly environment: spring was slowly taking over the park.
