Aquascaping - The Home
Tank furniture and decoration are as important to fish as they are to the aquarist. The water chemistry may be right and the system adequate, yet the fish will suffer if they cannot indulge themselves in activities natural to them due to restrictions imposed by their tank environment. Some may die due to a combination of aggression from tank mates and lack of appropriate hiding places. A good aquascaping improves chances of manifestation of natural behaviour and spawning. It helps the aquarist interfere in the tank as unobtrusively as possible, if required (e.g. when broods or sick fish must be removed). And of course, it is the pinnacle of visual pleasure.
Here you will find presentations and discussions related to tank decoration and aquascaping as well as some very useful tips and DIY ideas.
