Use the search link in the top left-hand corner.
Being precise in your choice of keywords will yield better results. When the Search page opens type in the box the word you are looking for, eg pearsei (for ex-cichlasoma pearsei). You can refine your search by selecting some of the options on the Search page, e.g. Search only articles or any of the Ordering options.
The first line of each result is the title of the article in which the word you were looking for appears. This is a link; clicking on it will take you to the relevant page. The second line indicates the location of this article (Section and Category). A line with the reference (i.e. the keyword you typed) appears next and the last item is the date of publication of this article. You can thus select which entries you will read according to their relevance to your enquiry.
If the keyword you have entered does not appear anywhere on the site you will get a message indicating your search yielded no results. You may want to try again using a different keyword.
Once you have finished your search click on Home in the left hand side column to return to the main menu page.
