Marine Tropical Fish

Unusual, colourful or simply stunning, marine tropical fish have conquered the hearts of many a hobbyist and nature lover with their beauty. Whether admiring them in the wild or in a tank it is worth learning about their life and behaviour in their natural habitats.  For some of the non-commercially available species little is known; for others more information is available.

A number of these fish are now thretened in the wild. Others are quite sensitive in the sense that they do not adapt, at all or easily, to aquarium conditions. Observing or admiring them in the wild is our only option.
