Welcome

Sunday 31 May 2009

Force feeding fish may occasionally be necessary to save a poorly or bullied individual in the tank. This, together with a report on keeping and breeding Paretroplus damii, are the articles of the month. PaweÅ‚ T. Dolata  and Eva Stets keep us updated on White Storks in Poland. PaweÅ‚ presents the project "Close to the Storks" while Eva has added the new developments in the nest in Przygodzice and photos of the storklets hatching and growing up.

In Macro and Nature, in addition to a variety of photo-albums focussing on plants and insects (yes, we have gone summery) we have included three albums with photos of Branta canadensis, the Canada goose. The birds, happily settled at Sale Park, UK, started nesting at the end of March 2009. The first fluffy, golden goslings, hatched at the end of April.

The Contact us link at the top left hand side corner of the screen is still not working. We do apologise about that; we will inform you when it becomes functional. Until then please contact us via the Webmaster email account.

Enjoy the update!!!
